    This past week the Queens and I made a trip to Beaver’s Bend Oklahoma to celebrate the January birthdays. Actually, it would be more accurate to say that we went to Beaver’s Bend State Park, which is a lake surrounded by hills, pines and lots of cabins. The two main towns around the lake are Broken Bow and Hochatown. Y’all this is truly a beautiful area! The cabin we rented was called Stairway to Heaven.     Today is the day that I reveal my road trip part 2! Last time, I shared the first half of my road trip with you however, we had so much fun that it wouldn’t fit into just one post. Last time I shared with  you a hint of what was to come. It was fish, flowers and elephants.  Believe it or not, I found all of those at a nursery!

    Road Trip!

    Yesterday The Hubs and I went on a road trip to Bastrop, Texas. We were going to visit our eldest son for the day.  Yay! It started out like most of our trips. My husband programming Waze on his phone while I was getting out a good book to read, but that all quickly changed when I noticed a few unusual things once we got to Austin.

    Round Top Texas

    My wild and crazy Pokeeno group and I just got back from a trip to Round Top, Texas. For those of you who have no idea what or where that is  – it is 17 miles of antique venues and flea market fields on highway 237 in the cities of Carmine, Burton, Round Top and Warrenton, TX.  The fields in between these cities are also full of permanent buildings and tents filled with vendors from all over the United States selling everything old and new.
