    Ella’s Table and Chairs

If I’m totally honest, I love painting children’s rooms and furniture more than anything else. Which means that I love my job during the holiday season, as I get to paint a lot of things children related. This year I got to paint a super fun toy chest and and Ella’s table and chairs. I can’t tell you how much fun I’ve had painting both pieces! Queen Lally asked if I would paint a table for her granddaughter, Ella. Of course, I wasn’t passing up the opportunity to paint something fun! This set is from Doug and Melissa. It started out a plain light wood that was primed and painted…

    Children’s Toy Box

Christmas is just around the corner, so the elves here at the castle have been very busy. Not just wrapping presents, but painting all sorts of things for little girls and boys.  This children’s toy box is one of my very favorite projects! My sweet friend asked if I would be willing to paint a toy box that she had built for her granddaughter? Oh, yes I would! I love painting furniture for children. It’s my favorite. Beep’s Tee Pee

I can’t believe it. Beep is almost one year old. Please, stop time! I’ll say this, birthday parties sure have changed since my boys were small. A few friends, family and a Big Bird birthday cake were all we generally had. Today, it’s more of an extravaganza! Beep’s party theme is Boho. Lots of florals, feathers and bling. We even have a special place to hold the gifts. Beep’s Tee Pee! Once my niece, Laura, had chosen her theme. Her elves, Granny, GT, and Aunt T, got busy helping Mom make the extravaganza happen. We started with these sweet hand made invitations.

    Beep’s Adirondack Chairs

I’m happy to say that I have a lot of projects going here at the Castle. I tend to get a little lazy when the weather starts to get hotter. And boy, is it hot! The past few days have had me painting Beep’s Adirondack chairs. Last week on my visit to the grocery store, I spied these sweet miniature Adirondack chairs. They are just the perfect size for Beep!

    Children’s Chairs

Children’s Chairs Before and After Our community had our neighborhood garage sale last weekend. I didn’t have my self together enough to participate and sell all of my nick nick paddy crap that seems to just appear out of thin air around here, but I did have fun doing a little shopping! Even the Hubs decided to tag along.
