A Few of My Favorite Things

Today I want to share with you a few of my favorite things. One was a gift from The Hubs, one makes me smile and one makes my life a little easier.

Since I love you, I’m more than willing to share all the goodness with you! Girlfriends should always share with each other!

Favorite thing number one was a gift from The Hubs. He’s so sweet. If the truth be known he probably bought it for me because he was tired of the grass in the back yard having overspray on it!

It’s a Spray Shelter! I’ve wanted a large one for some time, but wasn’t sure about where to store it, set up, etc. I didn’t even know that they made them smaller. This one is the perfect size and quite honestly I will probably use it much more than the larger version.

It is quite honestly one of the best gifts ever.  No more digging out a box or drop cloth to spray paint small things, no more overspray on the grass either!  It works beautifully and folds up back into the carrying case it came in!

The spray shelter is actually a pretty good size. This is one of my new lamps that needed a few changes – more on that later. This lamp is large! Plenty of room to spray and turn for sure.

Favorite thing number two is a Popsocket. I’m always a little late to the latest trend. No exception here. I’ve seen the nieces and nephews with these, but put it down to something for their generation.

Then I read another bloggers post saying it was life changing and mind blowing. So I ordered one.

So what is a Popsocket? Basically, it is  a handle that attaches to your phone for your fingers to hold onto. If you have a big phone like me, it helps you take pictures one handed.

When your not using your Popsocket, it folds flat on your phone. Want to use it? Just pull it out.

Mind blowing? Ehhh… Life changing? Possibly. All I know is that it makes taking pictures one handed a breeze!

Favorite thing number three makes me smile! I actually bought these last spring when I was at the Hob Lob Basket Store in Oklahoma City. It is Hob Lob’s outlet.  It’s not large and it is hit or miss, but I always seem to find something and the prices are great!

If you’ve followed along with me at all , you know that I love colored glass anything! These Halloween ghost and bat shade charms have magnets on them that allow you to attach them to most lamp shades.

I think they would be really cute hung from chandeliers too! They make me smile every time that I see them.  I will definitely be on the look out for more.

I can’t wait for Halloween decorating season to get here to hang the ghosts and bats up here at the castle.
