I am always so excited when it’s time to decorate my St. Patrick’s Day table. Due to the weather the past few weeks, I haven’t gotten much painting done, so I’ve been looking for fun indoor projects to do. This was the perfect project for me.
My centerpiece is always an Oxalis plant, which has the sweetest leaves that remind me of four leaf clovers. You can’t see them now, but this plant has the tiniest white blooms on it. So sweet. Whenever I see an oxalis plant, I know that Spring is on it’s way!
Once my centerpiece is made, it’s time to set the table.
I found these cute felt shamrocks at the Dollar Tree. I love that each of them have a different cut out pattern and that they are edged in gold.
They make a great placemat!
This year my place setting has a ton of green with a touch of white and a tiny bit of blue.
All colors of nature and early spring.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for spring to get here. We have had so much rain here in North Texas. I know we need the rain, but I’m starting to feel like I need an Ark and some serious light therapy!
I pulled out my Gail Pitman iced tea tumblers.
They are leftovers from my days of selling Southern Living at Home.
I have always loved Gail Pitman’s dishes!
Once my table was set, I couldn’t resist putting out a few gold coins and some green and gold beads.
Just in case someone forgets to wear their green….
I think my St. Patrick’s Day table turned out pretty cute. It’s simple and fun.
It’s definitely giving the castle the feeling that spring is just around the corner!
